Corporate Videographer – Mr. Charlie Von Metzradt Workshop
I was the Corporate Videographer on 9’th April 2013 at the meeting of Mr. Charlie Von Metzradt from Hosted Graphite who was in Dublin at the lovely offices of The Engine Yard in Barrow Street. The topic was on how to use RIAK incorrectly.
HOSTED GRAPHITE is the powerful open-source application metrics system used by hundreds of companies. We take away the headaches of scaling, maintenance, and upgrades and let you do what you do best – write great software.
Charlie Von Metzradt talked and answered all the do’s and don’t’ s of Riak. Everyone had an informative evening and was well coordinated by Matthew Revell of Basho.

Wedding Videographer Dublin – Majella and Matthew – 4’th April 2013.
I was the official wedding videographer at the wedding of the lovely Majella Connolly and Matthew Marks on 4’th April 2013. I started the day filming at Majella’s house along side the wedding photographer Tracy from Red Snapper Photography, she is a very good photographer and is well sought after.
We headed to the church St Patrick’s in Trim, the priest was Fr Marino Nguekam he was from Majella’s home parish of Clondalkin. The lovely church music was by Maureen O’ Dowd and was accompanied by John Dwyer on the Flute, this really added to the ceremony.
After the mass we went to have pictures taken in Trim Castle, Majella and Matthew traveled in a lovely wedding car by Michael Kelly from ATT, it was a cold day and not what the newly weds were used to as they now live in the heat of Australia we did not stay long, we headed to the wedding venue Trim Castle Hotel were we were met by the wonderful Joe the staff here did a great job. Shane Black was there wowing people with his magic.
Anthony from Photobooth was there, photobooth gives people the opportunity to dress up and get a photo of yourself and then you can leave a message in an album for the couple to view later, this causes many a laugh.
In the evening they had the wonderful wedding band 5th Avenue another one of Ireland’s best wedding bands.
The day was perfect, great venue, great food, and great party.

Wedding Videographer Dublin – Siobhan and James – 16’th March 2013.
I had the pleasure of been the official wedding videographer at the wedding of Siobhan Canning and James Dean on Saturday 16’th March 2013. I started off in the church of the lovely St Mochtas this is the most sought after church due to it’s character and it’s lovely country church yard. James and his best man Michael were there meeting and chatting to the guests.
The church music sounded beautiful and really added atmosphere to the ceremony.
The wedding reception was held in the Killashee House Hotel were Simon and his team were there to cater to their every need and nothing was a problem. They had the Irish Traditional music theme there and we had the wonderful Ann Tuite on the Harp playing at the drinks reception.
The wedding photographer was Brenda Mc Guire who was Siobhan’s cousin, she was excellent and lovely to work with. The speeches were excellent and Siobhan got a standing ovation for her few words she took us all by surprise.
In the evening we had the fabulous wedding band Firestar one of the most respected wedding bands from Carlow they had a fabulous set up and were very good.
It was a great day and night and I look forward to talking to Siobhan and James when their wedding DVD’s are ready.

Wedding Fair – Summerhill Hotel – 3’rd March 2013.
It’s been a busy time for wedding Fairs, I was at the lovely Summerhill House in Enniskerry on 3’rd March 2013 were many couples were met with the wonderful sound of the resident Bagpipe player John.
Helen O’ Reilly, Fergus O’ Grady and the team were showing the couples around the various rooms set up to cater for all wedding occasions, everyone was chatting and eating the many samples from the arrivals table.
A few of the suppliers there were, Fiona Anderson a fabulous lady photographer who I have worked with several times and also Dermot Byrne from Bray who had his new trophy displayed for his services to the wedding industry.
Dave Whelan from PRO DJS, Bond Brothers Formal Wear who can dress you out in anything including a kilt, Gabriel De Poar from De Poar Designs showing a beautiful selection of wedding dresses.
Jean from Hats by Jean who had a wonderful selection of hats for the guests and the mother of the bride.
There was a fabulous selection of cars from Tom Tallon from Leinsters Cars he had the wonderful 1937 Rolls Royce and also there was AKM Cars with the starched limos.
The Wedding Fair was a great chance to meet new couples and give them a chance to meet all the suppliers

Wedding Fair Seafield Hotel – 24’th February 2013.
It’s been a busy few weeks of wedding fairs and the most recent one I did was on Sunday 24’th February 2013 in the Seafield Golf & Spa Hotel. I had the pleasure of meeting several more couples who were planning their weddings.
There were many couples being shown around the various rooms set up to cater for all wedding occasions by Kare and her Team, they were treated to a selection of Hors d’oeuvres.
There were many suppliers taking part some that were present were, Andrew Miller, Arklow’s No.1 photographer, Dave Whelan from Pro Djs, Jack Dunne Formal Wear from Gorey who can dress you out in anything including a kilt
Karen from Murhan Events who caters for all your chair cover and table accessories, I have seen some of their work over the past few years and did not know that they were responsible for it, so it was a nice surprise when I realised I had hired them myself for my own wedding.
Jean from hats by jean had a wonderful selection of hats for the guests and the mother of the bride and there was a great band called Trilogy playing hits from the 60s and 70s. Everyone was chatting and eating the many samples from Vicky at her Chocolate Fountain from Magical Events.
There was a fabulous selection of cars from weddingcars.ie, one been the baby Bentley and the Chrysler 300.
The Wedding Fair was a great chance to meet new couples and there was a great chance for them to meet so many high quality suppliers.

Wedding Fair Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links – 17’th February 2013.
I was out at the Wedding Fair in the Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links on Sunday 17’th February 2013, were I had the pleasure of meeting several couples who were planning their wedding.
Avril Mc Carthy and her team there to meet and greet all the couples and answer any questions they may have, they were showing the couples around the various rooms set up to cater for all wedding occasions.
Deidre Seaver was there on the harp and this added a lovely touch to the atmosphere.
There were a lot of suppliers there including, Pat Ireland’s No.1 photographer from Photohouse, Candy Cart by Angela 086 8051014, flowers by Sean of Floral Events, there flower displays are present in many places such as the Shelbourne Hotel, the Merrion Hotel and the K Club so it was nice to see them there and they did a magnificent job on the main function room and the room set up for the Civil Ceremony, they did not disappoint. I have seen a lot of there work in different hotels but never knew it was Floral Events who was responsible, they are well worth checking out. Also outside was Michael from ATT Chauffers showing a lovely selection of cars.
The Wedding Fair was a great chance to meet new couples and the other suppliers were impressive.

Wedding Videographer Dublin – Louise and Barry – 15’th February 2013.
I was the official videographer at the wedding of the very bubbly and lovely Louise Farrell and Barry Bradley in the town of Co Carlow on 15’th February 2013.
I started off in the house with wedding photographer Thomas Sunderland he is a very good photographer and well sought after. We stayed and got all the preparations recorded, the girls were all in high spirits.
The mass was in Carlow Cathedral, not too far away. Fr. Morgan was the priest and his very warm approach was evident, the stunning church music was by Clara Hutchinson who not only sang magnificently but also played the piano.
After the mass we went to have pictures taken in the beautiful Sensory Gardens then we were off to the Tolbot Hotel for the wedding reception were Niamh Whelan and Kevin Atkinson were ready to meet and greet the newlyweds and guests.
The wedding cake was spectacular and baked by their friend Noel.
In the evening we had the wedding band BlueMoose another one of Ireland’s newest all rounder wedding bands.
The day was perfect, great venue, great food, and a great party, I look forward to meeting Louise and Barry when their wedding DVD’s are ready.

Wedding Videographer Dublin – Wedding Showcase – Leixlip Manor Hotel
The Wedding Day Showcase of the year was on Sunday 23’rd February 2013 in Leixlip Manor Hotel. This gives couples a chance to see the hotel laid out as it would be for a wedding and there were also a few different suppliers there.
The air was electric, there were many couples chatting to all the suppliers and getting information and checking availability. There were a lot of suppliers there, to name a few were Eric Ronan Photographer, fab cakes from Cakebox and Yes myself Cyril Fox from Video Me.
Eamon from Smooth Jazz Ensamble along with the new up and coming band The Honey Dews were playing and keeping people entertained.
Terry Flanagan from Gold Cars was outside showing a lovely selection of Silver and Gold Cars and he now has a new silver addition Beauford.
Lesley and Christian were a pleasure to deal with and are always there to make sure your day runs smoothly in the Leixlip Manor Hotel.
The showcase was really good and informative.

Wedding Videographer Dublin – Ciara and Daire – 31’st December 2012.
I was the wedding videographer for Ciara Slamon and Daire Cronin on 31’st December 2012 in Straffan Co Kildare. Fr Joe Coyne officiated at the wedding ceremony. The wedding car a lovely 1948 Rolls Royce from the wedding car company Cassidy Chauffeurs.
The church music was excellent and sung by Sonia Grimes and Mary Kelly Farrell on the Harp.
The wedding reception was held in the magnificent Barberstown Castle which was built in the 13th Century, it is the only 4 Star Irish Castle “with 5 Star Quality” Richard and Paddy as always have the place perfect for every new couple and the room was laid out beautifully and the service was second to none, they really make you feel so special in Barberstown Castle.
The wedding photographer was none other than Richard Gavin a well sought after wedding photographer who has just moved into his new larger studio and we wish him many more years of success.
Or the evening we had the Grove Nation another one of Ireland’s newest wedding bands to the scene and they did a great job.
I look forward to talking to Ciara and Daire when their wedding DVD’s are ready, they are a lovely couple and a pleasure to work with.

Wedding Videographer Dublin – Mary and Neil- 29’th December 2012.
I was the official wedding videographer on the 29’th December 2012 at the wedding of Mary Byrne and Neil Kidd, it was the most amazing wedding. I started off at Mary’s house in the lovely town of Rush where the last minute preparations were taking place. I had the pleasure of filming one of Mary’s bridesmaids Deirdre Brady on her wedding day a few years ago it is always great to meet people that you have had the pleasure of working with in the past.
Fr Kieran Coughlin and Fr Charles McCollum were officiating at the wedding, the wedding ceremony took place in St Maura’s parish in Rush.
The church music was excellent and sung by Niamh Kavanagh, Niamh always does an amazing job and the wedding car was a stunning silver Bentley from Absolute limos.
The wedding reception was held in the magnificent Dunboyne Castle were Tom were John were there to cater to there every need and nothing was a problem, the room was spectaular and the staff at Dunboyne Castle were outstanding as always.
The photographer was none other than Michael Crean a well sought after wedding photographer and great to work with.
In the evening the wedding bad was Bumble Bee Honey, one of Ireland’s newest wedding bands and they did a great job. I look forward to meeting Mary and Neill when their wedding DVD’s are ready.
