Wedding Videographer Dublin – Karen and Diarmuid – 20’th April 2012.
I was the official wedding videographer for Karen Leonard and Diarmuid Enright on 20’th April 2012.
I drove up the day before the wedding and stayed in the Pontoon Bridge Hotel so I would be close to the lovely village of Bofeenaun on the shores of Lough Conn.
I started the day in the house were Karen and the girls were having the final preparations done with hair and make up.
The setting of the church was lovely, it was St Mary’s in Bofeenaun Village in County Mayo. Fr Alan Munnelly was celebrating the mass and the church was magnificently decorated by Karen’s mum who is a sacriston in the church. The music was perfect and really added to the occasion. Karen arrived in a lovely silver Mercedes.
The wedding photographer was Pat and Phillip Stafford from Ballyhanuis and wow he really went out of his way to get some lovely pictures, both at the house and on at the foot of Nephin mountain.
We set off to the wedding reception that was in the wonderful Knockranny House Hotel in Westport, a lovely hotel and the staff were great.
In the evening we had the wonderful wedding band Weightless Astronauts, they are a band from Galway and they were just magical they had a great way with the crowd, if you need a band up in Mayo, Sligo or Galway do check them out they had them rocking for the night.
Great day and night and I look forward to talking to Karen and Diarmuid again when I have there wedding DVD’s ready.
